Leo is the most dominant, spontaneously creative, and extroverted of all the zodiac signs. They are as dominant and ambitious as the lion itself. Their character is one of great courage, grandeur, self-confidence, in fact they are so self controlled, the word doubt is seldom used in their vocabularies. They are born leaders and are at their best when in command. Leos have great personal charisma and a innate courtesy of mind which brings out the best in their followers. They know exactly what they want and know how to get it. They seldom beat around the bush and act bigger than others would normally dare, but their ambitiousness of their schemes and idealism can daunt their associates. Although, they make-up for this with their practical stubbornness and ability to ho straight to the heart of any problem which reassures those that depend on them. A Leonian thrives on adversity. They are highly idealistic and humane. Leonians are of superior intelligence and have a broad philosophical, even religious state of mind.
Their virtues can be as large in scale as their faults. An extremely negative Leo can be one of the most offensive people you've ever met. In this state of mind they can be extremely arrogant, and have a nasty temper. When jealous or suspicious of rivals, they will not hesitate to use lies, trickery, and cunning to discredit them. A greed for flattery, and a self-centered, boastful, overbearing and intolerant nature makes them hard to get along with, and may borrow excessively to facilitate their grandiose schemes. The Leo also has lust for power, passion for luxury and a boundless appetite for sex and emotional indulgence. Fortunately Leonians rarely is so unrestrained as to give in thoroughly to this whole list of vices, and it is their inborn wisdom that usually balance them. Those who are afflicted with them have the intelligence to deliberately and proactively overcome them.
A relationship with a Leo can be open, genuine, trusting and sincere. With their spontaneously warm hearted, plain spoken and outgoing character, they are more estranged than average when let down by people they trust. Even though they are great leaders, their ability to judge the character of others is not a strong suite. This is probably because they are so inclined to favoritism and exaggerated faith in their followers.
Leonians have a very high sex drive and are so strongly attracted to the opposite sex that they find it hard to be constant. Because their love of beauty and pleasure the Leo partner is liable to have numerous love affairs and very much inclined to deception. Their marriages may fail for this reason, even though they are sincere and generous to their partners, and will remain enamored with their homes as long as it is run for their benefit. They often demand service but are not capable of returning it.
Leo governs the upper back, forearms, wrist, spine and heart. Leonians are subject to pain in the back and lungs, spinal problems, heart and blood disease, violent fevers and problems with the eyes.
