Virgo is the only sign in the zodiac that is represented by the female. Some Virgoan characteristics are refinement, preciseness, creative, meticulous love of cleanliness, hygiene and good order. Quite often they are shrewd, observant, critical, patient, and tend to be conservative in all areas of life. Outwardly they appear emotionally aloof even to the point of being cold and occasionally this goes deeper, due to their habit of suppressing kindness, thus they can shy away from committing themselves to a variety of relationships.

They bring the art of concealment to a new level because they are conscious of the shortcomings in themselves and they want to hide the apprehension they feel about themselves and their considerable sympathy with others under a manner of matter-of -factness and quiet reserve. However they are unassuming, cheerful, agreeable, sensible, wise and witty. Vigoans have a good understanding of other people's problems which they are able to solve with practicality.

Their minds need stimulation of practical problems to be solved rather than be put in a situations that need no thought. They are careful of money and have a deep interest in history and love to be close to nature and home. Both sexes have ample charm and dignity, and in marriage can be genuinely affectionate, making good spouses. Although, their lovemaking may be the perfection of technique rather than the expression of unbridled passion or desire and shouldn't meet with a partner whose sex drive requires a passion they can't return.

Their faults are the extremes of their virtues as with all of the zodiacal signs. Meticulous reserve and modesty may turn into old-maidishness and fretfulness; a balanced criticism becomes nagging and the concern for detail can be over specialization. They tend to be indecisive in extensive issues and this can end up in turning small matters into monumental problems. But generally the Virgo is a stable and responsible sign of the zodiac.

Virgo governs the hands, abdomen, intestines, spleen and central nervous system and illnesses which are inclined to include are colds, pleurisy's, pneumonia and nervous instabilities. They are prone to worry which makes them susceptible to stomach and bowel problems. The male gender may have problems with their reproductive organs.
