Aries and Gemini were made for each other. The need for action in one is matched by the need for novelty and stimulus in the other. The Arian may find that the Gemini is much quicker mentally than they are, and ready to move onto new challenges and new concepts almost as soon as they have arrived at them. Arians will not tire the Gemini out, nor the other way around. The Arian has much greater physical capabilities than does the Gemini, and much more sheer strength, but the Geminian speed of reaction is phenomenal, and they uses themselves much more sparingly. Geminians do with reflexes what Arians do with muscle.

As a friendship, there is little to fault the pairing of these two signs. As a love match, things could turn out a little differently. There is no lack of sexual compatibility, you both enjoy any physical activity and Arians will get extra pleasure from the laughter that the Gemini will bring to things. The trouble starts when the Arian falls in love, their simple and direct passion, when honestly and earnestly expressed, will amuse the Gemini, and they will turn their interest to something else. This isn't rejection; it's just that earnestness is a bit too serious for the Gemini mind, and the fun is taken out of anything when seriousness starts to creep in. The Geminian needs variety, by the time the Arian are getting serious about things the relationship will have been going for some time, and the Gemini will need a change. If the Arian can put up with the Gemini's lightweight response and their refusal to be committed in any way, then things can continue almost indefinitely. The Gemini can provide an Arian with a seemingly endless series of ideas and new projects, and the you will be able to explore them together.

In many ways, this one works best if kept at the level of two very close friends. You will never really understand or appreciate what goes on inside the mind of a Gemini, and how much they get out of the adventures you share together. Just as the Gemini will never believe what deep satisfaction you get out of using yourself physically, testing you own limits, doing something that nobody else has ever done before, and experiencing it firsthand for yourself. The Gemini would think such a notion absurdly over-dramatic, and would rather not think of you, their best friend, in such terms. You must stay side by side, enjoying each other's company, and taking individual pleasures in different ways from the experiences you share. If you keep like that and if you keep it light and active, the relationship is nearly perfect.
