Here is a relationship that shouldn't work but in real life it seems to struggle along somehow. It could be because both of your ruling planets - Jupiter and Venus - are essentially kind and well meaning in their nature. Taureans are essentially static people who find the very idea of movement bothersome. They don't like movement and they don't like the idea of novelty, since this threatens them with the dissolution of their existing way of life. You, on the other hand, couldn't exist with out movement and novelty. That is why this relationship is so difficult.

The Taurus individual is trying to achieve a stable way of life where everything is secure and his physical needs are met. He loves home comforts and measures himself by the size and comfort of his home. Just as important is the amount he has in his larder. You measure yourself by how clever you are and how much you know. He is physical where you are intellectual, and he wants comfort and you want excitement. He is very slow to anger and will endure a great deal before taking steps to rectify the situation. His stability and reliability has a sort of appeal for you. You don't want to be that way yourself, but you recognize that what they have you want to achieve. You appreciate his stability and you admire the care that he has lavished on his home and possessions, because you know that you just couldn't give that much time to that sort of thing. You do want to be a part of it though. To him you threaten all he holds dear and his eventual reaction to you will be to ignore you. You are not concerned with the material world in the same way he is and so you do not threaten their possessions, and therefore not important. Ideas can safely be ignored because all that matters to him is material wealth. This infuriates you. You can handle having your ideas ignored but you must be recognized for having ideas of importance.

Since you have to struggle to even recognize the existence of each other's ways of thinking a close friendship is unlikely. If you make it to lover status, you will find that the Taurean is capable of a tremendous passion, but you will find it more than you want to deal with. You would like things a little lighter. If you should marry, it would only be because you want a secure home base. Don't complain though, if they are unwilling to change as quickly as you would like or if they place constraints on your personal freedom. As business partners your relationship is a lot better than you would think. Your role would be to do the selling and his to do the buying.
